Here’s a bit more information on my background:

I have several years experience working as a sound engineer and music producer, an honours degree in Music Technology from Edinburgh University and a diploma in classical music recital from Trinity College, London. Over the years I have performed with choirs, orchestras, acoustic bands, electronic groups and numerous self formed musical projects. This background gives me a vast knowledge of varying musical performances, essential to working in our ever developing music industry. I play many instruments but my main tool is my ears.

I’ve been producing my own electronic music for several years and have a sizeable portfolio of previous work as well as comprehensive experince in musical equipment, software and production techniques. I also have extensive training in acoustics and the physics of musical instruments, vital in understanding room resonances, microphone placement and the effects on recording audio.

I am currently the resident sound engineer at the legendary Wee Red Bar in Edinburgh College of Art and also work for several other venues and bands. I’ve engineered and recorded for hundreds of bands spanning all possible styles of music. Check out the previous clients list to find out who I’ve worked with.
